Can researchers who are not currently affiliated with Liberty University access the Law Library?

Answer

The Ehrhorn Law Library is not open to the general public. Limited access is provided to unaffiliated researchers as described below.

  • Bar and bench members: Present photo ID and bar ID at the School of Law's main entrance.
  • Researchers from other institutions: Contact the library in advance to arrange a visit. Present photo ID at the School of Law's main entrance. If affiliated with an institution that participates in Atla or VIVA reciprocal borrowing programs, present valid institutional ID to check out materials at the library's Service Desk.
  • Liberty Law alumni: Contact the library in advance to arrange a visit. Present photo ID at the School of Law's main entrance.

Access is limited to visitor hours, which are stated on the library's home page. To see what services you can expect to access during your library visit, see the Access Policy.
